Do your Church Members Know Which Way is North?

It was a talk seemingly like any other but then…what was he asking us to do…to stand up and close our eyes? Now this was different!
The speaker had grabbed our attention, and I was eager to find out why we were doing this.
He asked us to point in the direction that we thought was North. He then asked us to open our eyes, and, yes, you guessed it, we were all pointing in different directions.
We all sat down and he pointed to where North was and then asked us to stand up, close our eyes, and point North. This time, of course, when we opened our eyes everyone was pointing in the same direction.
This little exercise was a real eye opener (forgive the pun).
